my winter wonderland.

I L.O.V.E. TO TRAVEL. I'm even have one of those wall maps you can add push pins to whenever you visit a new place.

I've wanted to go to Vancouver for some time now and we got a killer deal because we traveled in winter, instead of the typical over-crowded summer season. We didn't have to wait in line anywhere, for anything! No tourists but us? Yahoo!

Our trip consisted of one week in Canada, split up between Vancouver and Victoria. We ended our travels with 24 hours in Seattle, which was a great spontaneous decision thanks to my boyfriend.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of our trip is CLEAN. Those Canadians are SO eco-friendly! Next to every trash can was a recycle bin. For a big city such as Vancouver, I saw virtually no trash anywhere! It was so nice!

The weather was CRISP to say the least. I'll be honest- I'm a so-cal baby when it comes to cold weather. If Dallas Raines (for all you non-Angelino's, he's our local weather man) says it's gonna be 55 degrees I'm crankin' the heat and lightin' the fire.

But I loved our winter wonderland trip. It gave me a great excuse to stimulate the economy by investing in new scarves, winter coats and cute hats!

Here's some highlights from our trip.

Scott and me at the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver. It snowed the night before and it created the most amazing views! The air was fresh with a healthy chill in the air. It was simply breathtaking-

This shows the significant DROP (over 250 feet) from the bridge to the river below. My stomach was queasy every time I looked down.

The awesome Granville Market. We walked around for hours. They sold everything from coho salmon, mouth-watering fresh produce, to gorgeous paper goods.

I was peeking in on Scott while he was looking through all the cool stationary and cards in a store.

We went on a bike ride all through Stanley Park along the seawall. It's a beautiful ride with amazing views.

We took a ferry over to Victoria. Think old European architecture meets urban chic, all swirled into one cool city! We rode bikes all through the city and the surrounding seawall.

The famous Empress Hotel where the Queen Elizabeth used to sip on tea.

We stayed at the Delta Victoria- I highly recommend it. This was the view from our ROOM. We sat and drank wine, while watching the sunset and the parliament building lights appear.

Seattle's famous Pike Place Market.

On top of the Spaceneedle. These girls took about a MILLION pictures, always making those peace signs in the shots- not sure why, but ok.

I'm a big fan of photographic details. Our trip had so many amazing things for me to shoot. The food, the drinks, the fresh flowers. Here's a couple collages of my favorite odds and ends from our trip.
