please, mind the gap.

After I graduated from college, some friends and I backpacked across Europe for the summer. The experience was life changing to say the least. But this blog post isn't about that amazingly momentous time in my life. Well, not really.

I recall when we were in London, almost getting side swiped by a car because I didn't "MIND THE GAP". Yes, you've heard the expression... it's the title of this blog. This phrase started as a warning to train passengers of the significant gap between the train door and the station platform. In my terms it means, "Watch out you silly rabbit! You could get smashed to smithereens if you're not careful!"

Here's the parallel. This particular blog post is my own personal plea to please excuse my absence, or "mind the gap". The gap I'm referring to is my lack of updated blog posts. There has been a LARGE gap in entries, and frankly here's why. I was having a hard time with my blog. The pictures were so teensy weensy compared to so many other blogs I stalk (I mean look at), so I wanted to get it designed more to my liking. I stopped adding more posts, thinking I would have to add each one to the new template once it's finished and that would be oh-so-time-consuming!

Long story short- (I know, I know, too late)- I did find out how to make my pictures GYNORMOUS, but still need to wait on some things for the final revamping and fabulous designer blog. So instead of standing on the sidelines, watching all the other bloggers of the world race right by me, I've decided to start moving again!

Please don't hesitate to check back frequently as I have A LOT of blogs to post!
